The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria invites applications for the newly-created position, Assistant Director for
Academic Advising. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, this full-time Academic
Professional position develops and implements academic, career, and peer-advising programs and related services for the approximately 240
first- through fourth-year medical students from diverse backgrounds who are assigned to the Peoria campus. The Assistant Director works
closely with registration officials to oversee accuracy and integrity of medical student records, and collaborates with faculty and
otherstaff to support the holistic education of future physicians.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology or related field required; Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling or related field
preferred. One to three years of administrative and professional experience with student services in higher education required. Experience
in Financial Aid and Scholarship process preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.
