Admin – Academic Advising
Academic advising to prospective and current CSE undergraduate students.
Routine advising of current students, advise students seeking minors. Advise prospective students. Monitor students for potential probationary status and facilitate early intervention. Set up programs for students to assist them in improving study skills and other activities to aid retention. Remove holds and place students on permission lists. Assist in data preparation for queries that come in from outside the department. Represent the department at preview days and other outside events. Backup for administering placement exams. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree. Four (4) years of experience working with college students or adolescents in an academic advising/counseling capacity or the equivalent experience. Proficient in MS Office Excel and Word.
